Penn State Disaster

First and foremost is the disaster for the victims. [Disturbing descriptions are contained in these links.] Too much may have been made about the effect on a football legend and educational institution but both have been indicted by the apparent pressure of fame and market forces. Not to lay all the blame on Coach Joe Paterno, he apparently was not legally indicted. Not to make light of any seriousness in this tragedy, but was it appropriate that they allowed Paterno to hang on for football win 409?
